Job description

Store - WINNIPEG-GARDEN CITY, MB

Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for their art. Help customers shop our store and be able to find what they’re looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Major Activities
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
  • Use Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating custom framing solutions, aiming to deliver sales and production results.
  • Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
  • Deliver friendly customer service; assist customers in shopping and finding products; ensure the store is well merchandised and in-stock.
  • Follow SOPs and Company programs.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; stay positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote the organization’s vision and values; serve as a role model.
  • Participate in truck unload and stocking processes, ensuring standards are followed within budget.
  • Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
  • Acknowledge customers, assist in locating products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.

Minimum Experience Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
Preferred Experience
  • Retail experience.
  • Experience selling products and/or services to customers.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and frames; accessing high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
Work Environment
  • Public retail store setting focused on customer service; climate-controlled areas; some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled; outdoor work for tasks like retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks; frame shop with glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
