A leading entertainment company in Ontario seeks a guest service professional responsible for greeting and seating guests. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Candidates should have Smart Serve certification and food and beverage experience. This position is set in a dynamic casino environment with non-traditional hours, aiming to create memorable experiences for guests.
This position is responsible for greeting and seating guests with regard to rules, regulations and outlet operational guidelines. Under the supervision of F&B Manager or Supervisor, this role must contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees and patrons. Ensures adherence to all polices and procedures. This position may be performed in a restaurant, buffet operation, and positively contributes to an entrepreneurial culture that is nimble, energized, growth oriented, to self-motivate and lead by example. Above all else, must be aligned with, and promote, Shorelines Casinos culture and philosophy of creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.
Regular casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time, some exposure to noise and conflict, non-traditional work hours.
