Job summary

Mosaic Sales Solutions Canada Operating Co in Nova Scotia is seeking a results-oriented Sales and Merchandising Representative to strengthen in-store execution across grocery and mass channels.

You will lead direct sales, upsell, negotiate, and build displays, while ensuring planogram compliance and POS promotion execution. Travel may be required; a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is required.
• Retail grocery/mass channel experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Weekdays 8am–5pm availability.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Solid presentation and objection-handling abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in territory management.
• Willing to travel (overnight stays possible).
• Organized and able to work with limited supervision.
• Daily internet/email access and ability to handle admin tasks.
• Owns computer/laptop and printer/scanner with home internet.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to store POS at home location.

Responsibilities

• Assertive selling.
• Excellent execution of program fundamentals: sales, negotiating, building displays, POP, distribution, and planogram compliance.
• Negotiate sales, call for orders, inline orders, and retailer support for promos.
• Build and negotiate displays with regular store visits.
• Develop positive relationships with key retail contacts.
• Deliver retail coverage per plan with efficient call frequency.
• Resolve store-level issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Drive distribution of core items and new innovations to meet share goals.
• Possible overnight or daily travel.
