Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a housekeeping associate to perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas under the supervision of Operations Supervisors/Managers, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires at least 1 year of housekeeping experience and eligibility to obtain a Gaming License, with duties including cleaning hallways, fixtures, rooms, and storage areas, plus effective liaison with departments to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Gaming License eligibility required to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Vacuums hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areas
• Cleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, linen rooms, signs, sconces, stairwells, door frames, public telephones, etc.
• Delivers housekeeping items to offices as requested
• Maintains all housekeeping storage areas
• Polishes chrome and other materials requiring special care
• Cleans offices
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed
