We are seeking a trustworthy, capable, and self-motivated Pellet Mill Operator to join our team for part-time evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, with occasional weekend shifts based on production demands.

Work hours for this role are 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety First: Always prioritize safety for yourself and others, strictly adhering to all company protocols and standards.
• Independent Operation: Operate pellet mill equipment efficiently and reliably with minimal supervision during evening hours.
• Process Monitoring: Watch over production processes closely, proactively identifying and addressing any quality or mechanical concerns.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot minor issues and know when to escalate mechanical problems to supervisors or maintenance staff.
• Quality Assurance: Perform routine checks and maintain product standards for our regenerative fertilizers.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to maximize equipment reliability and longevity.
• Documentation: Accurately maintain shift logs, production notes, and basic maintenance records.
• Housekeeping: Keep the production area clean, organized, and hazard-free to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Team Communication: Maintain clear communication with the day shift team and supervisors to ensure seamless production handovers and consistent operations.

Schedule

• Evening Shifts: Monday through Thursday
• Work Hours: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Flexibility: Occasional weekend shifts may be required depending on production needs.
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating pellet mills, agricultural machinery, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Trustworthy and reliable: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of evening shift responsibilities.
• Highly attentive to safety, quality, and detail.
• Good physical stamina (ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend throughout the shift).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in regenerative agriculture, soil health, or environmental restoration is a major asset.
  

Working Conditions

• Industrial production environment with regular exposure to dust, noise, and mechanical equipment.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times (provided).
• Physical activity includes standing, walking, bending, and light lifting throughout shifts.
