Job Description

Scope of Position

To deliver evening service, ensure cleanliness, and maintain guest rooms and corridors to Raffles standards. Ensure turn-down service is timely and personalized. Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas to uphold a 5-star environment and seamless guest experience. Work closely with the night porter to provide supplies and amenities, acting as an ambassador of Raffles values during interactions with guests and colleagues.

Operation

• Provide timely turn-down service according to guest preferences.
• Support morning shift cleaning when needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Report loss or damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals as per standards and training.
• Keep service areas stocked and clean.
• Report issues like equipment or light bulb damage promptly.
• Report and follow policies on lost property.
• Perform duties with care, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain a quiet environment.
• Maintain a clean, efficient 5-star floor area in line with standards.
• Participate in daily departmental meetings.
• Perform additional duties or support other departments as required.

Health and Safety

• Report and rectify hazards immediately.
• Be familiar with fire, emergency, and bomb procedures.
• Ensure safety of persons and property, adhering to laws and regulations.
• Promote health and safety awareness within the department.
