Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a reliable part-time janitor to maintain clean facilities in the evenings. The role covers floors, washrooms, common areas, and waste removal across site locations.

Candidates should work with minimal supervision, have own transportation, and pass a Criminal Background Check, demonstrating attention to detail, energy, and teamwork. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, with duties described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must have own transportation.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Strip and wax floors, steam clean carpets and clean windows on request.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass in doors and partitions.
• Damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, restock dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls and shelves.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
