Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a part-time, on-call Cleaner to maintain hard floors, carpets, washrooms and common areas across our facilities in Canada. Duties include cleaning floors, windows, bathrooms and waste removal, with shifts scheduled part-time and on-call as needed.

Candidates must be reliable, able to follow directions, have own transportation, pass a criminal background check, and be prepared to work with minimal supervision as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Must have own transportation.
• Requires attention to detail and high energy.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs and surfaces inside buildings.
• Strip and wax floors, steam clean carpets and clean windows on request.
• Wash windowsills; interior doors, partitions, and windows.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Assist the supervisor with other tasks and report defects (e.g., clogged urinals, lights).
