Job summary

Theatre Alberta is seeking an Equipment Manager to support our sensory play classes in Calgary. The role focuses on organizing, transporting, and preparing props and materials for weekly sessions, ensuring everything is in the right place and ready on time.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently or with a small team. A driver’s license and access to a mid‑sized or larger vehicle are required to move equipment between storage and venues.

Qualifications

• Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills.
• Willingness to work 10–15 hours per week.
• Possesses a driver’s license and ability to transport equipment.
• Enthusiastic about supporting a creative, child‑focused organization.

Responsibilities

• Organize and transport equipment, ensuring they are properly packed, stored, and labeled.
• Prepare weekly class materials using session plans and ensure props are ready.
• Sanitizing and maintaining equipment to keep it clean and safe for use.
• Transport equipment between storage facility and class venues.
• Assist with class setup and teardown as needed.
