Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (written and oral).
• One (1) year of pertinent experience.
• Certificate dated no more than three (3) years attesting to basic first aid or a refresher course updating first-aid skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daycare and classroom activities for preschool and elementary students.
• Provide supervision and safety for students; assist with dressing, meals and health-related needs.
• Support teachers with activities, prepare teaching materials and help with administrative tasks.
• Communicate with parents and participate in school team planning and parent meetings.

Education

Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Daycare Services

Diploma and attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority
