Job summary

YMCA of Three Rivers in Guelph-Wellington invites applications for the Early Years Educator - Part Time School Age (RECE, EYE). The role supports childcare for 0-12 year olds, implementing Playing to Learn and YMCA Place to Connect curricula, with afternoon hours and a 10-month cycle.

You will plan activities, ensure safety, document progress, and collaborate with families. Requirements include an ECE credential, registration with CECE, and willingness to complete required trainings.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children in group settings.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C required before start.
• Immunizations up-to-date as per Public Health.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality compassionate care and support to children and families.
• Build positive relationships with children and keep families informed of progress.
• Be an active play partner and facilitate learning through play.
• Ensure supervision and safety at all times per policy.
• Observe and document children's development and learning.
• Attend curriculum training and maintain required certifications.
