Job summary

Thermëa spa village in Whitby, Ontario is seeking a Part-time Dishwasher to join our wellness village. You will support our kitchen by washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting cooks during peak times.

Reporting to the Sous-Chef, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on hospitality. We offer a competitive, scale-based pay and opportunities to experience our spa culture.

What We Need

Reporting to the Sous-Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible to keep the kitchens clean while taking care of the dishwashing. The incumbent is responsible for washing dishes (utensils, glasses, pots, etc.) and must also perform housekeeping tasks such as washing floors, ovens, hoods, etc. The dishwasher is also a strong support to the cooks and may, on occasion, assist in the preparation of certain recipes and set-ups.

What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes, glasses and utensils by hand or in a dishwasher, scrub pots and pans and polish utensils and glassware;
• Clean refrigerators, ovens and kitchen equipment;
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen (floors, equipment, materials);
• Empty garbage cans and transport garbage to containers;
• Put away dishes in an orderly and safe manner in the appropriate areas;
• Perform other related tasks.
