Karis Disability Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in Peel region, Brampton, Ontario. This temporary part-time role involves assisting people with developmental disabilities in daily life at their homes and communities, supporting rights and growth, and fostering independence.

The position is on-site, approximately 11 months, with a wage of $24.68 to $28.88 per hour and 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 6 months relevant experience preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation is required.
• On-site work location in Peel region (Brampton, ON).
• Developmental Services Worker or Child and Youth Worker education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living at home and in the community.
• Assist with learning life skills and promote independence and rights.
• Collaborate with teams during in-person work to ensure person-centered care.
