Job summary

Walmart Canada in Cornwall, ON is seeking a part-time Distribution Centre Team Associate - Receiving II for afternoon shifts (Mon-Thu 1500-2330). You will help unload freight, verify counts, and support receiving procedures in a fast-paced DC environment.

Responsibilities include pallet building, label verification, completing paperwork, and maintaining safety and housekeeping programs to meet company policy and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must wear steel-toed safety boots on first day.
• Additional PPE may be required as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Unloading of freight and verifying product and count prior to receiving.
• Cutting shrink wrap off of shipment skids, verifying product skid contents, and matching label to product.
• Assembling pallets according to designated Ti/Hi and other specifications.
• Transportation of freight to various departments.
• Completion of paperwork accurately and as required to ensure timely completion of receiving procedures.
• Maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.
