Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Cook for the Belcourt Retirement Residence in Orléans, ON. The role supports residents, guests and employees by preparing and delivering meals within scheduled times, maintaining high food quality and safety standards.

You will review menus, follow production charts and adhere to dietary requirements while working in a collaborative healthcare environment. The position requires physical stamina and compliance with health regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a Food Handler's Certificate.
• Red Seal Certificate preferred.
• Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in healthcare or retirement setting.
• Knowledge of Provincial Food Premises Regulation and Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating.
• Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and deliver all foods for residents, guests and staff.
• Review menus and production sheets; prepare meals accordingly.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques.
• Complete daily temperature audits for fridge, freezer and storerooms.
• Prepare and serve foods for therapeutic/special diets as planned.
• Adhere to service times and use of daily production charts and recipes.
• Comply with provincial regulations and dietary policies.
• Participate in special meals and staff trainings.
• Respect Resident Rights and participate in Quality Improvement Program.
