Cogir Senior Living is hiring a part-time cook for 11am-7pm at Our Parents' Home, Edmonton. You will prepare meals for residents, guests and staff, review menus, and ensure proper food handling and safety standards are followed. Experience in large quantity cooking for healthcare environments is preferred.

The role requires ability to lift and stand for long periods and adherence to dietary regulations and schedules. A Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory; a Red Seal is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Handler's Certificate.
• Red Seal Certificate preferred.
• Experience in large quantity food preparation in healthcare or retirement settings.
• Knowledge of Provincial Food Premises Regulation and Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating.
• Knowledge of special and therapeutic diets.
• Must be physically able to lift and stand for long periods.
• Vulnerable Sector Check within six months.
