Job summary

Lambton College of Applied Arts and Technology invites applications from qualified individuals for part-time clinical instructor positions in the Personal Support Worker (PSW), Practical Nursing (PN), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programs.

This role requires a commitment of 1 to 2 days per week across day and afternoon shifts, with clinical instruction at community sites including local hospitals and long-term care settings, beginning January 2027.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BScN degree required; Masters degree preferred for BScN teaching.
• RPN diploma required for PN or PSW programs; BScN preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, faculty, and clinical partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a positive teaching and learning environment.
• Being available for weekday email communication with students and faculty; consulting with colleagues as required.
• Preparing clinical daily plans and providing instruction using a variety of teaching techniques and current technologies that enhance student success.
• Delivering courses in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Monitoring student performance, maintaining progress reports, and encouraging student success; administering and grading assignments in a timely manner.
• Follow the Lambton College Academic Calendar and all related policies and procedures.
