As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a designated kitchen section, assist with preparation (mise en place), ensure the quality of all menu items, and handle and store all food products according to standards. You will participate in menu development, train junior team members, and maintain food costs while upholding Crescent and Marriott brand standards.

Maintain compliance with all departmental and hotel policies and procedures.
Set daily priorities and assign tasks for production and preparation.
Review daily menus and banquet event orders, noting any changes.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team both verbally and in writing.
Take physical inventory of food items and supplies.
Ensure proper receiving, storage, and security of supplies.
Collaborate with Front of House leadership on equipment needs, banquet support, cleaning, and safety follow-up.
Ensure each kitchen area is properly stocked with tools, supplies, and equipment.
Prepare menu items according to recipes, yield guides, and standards.
Maintain quality and attention to detail in all food products.
Assist culinary leadership with new menu development, recipe testing, and documentation.
Train new hires and maintain ongoing culinary training programs.
Ensure team compliance with health and safety regulations, including dietary and allergy considerations.
Adhere to attendance policies and be present during scheduled meal periods.
Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring food safety certifications and standards are met.
Preferred: Minimum 3-4 years of cooking experience
