Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with all customers.
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
- Greet customers with a warm demeanor.
- Scan or enter product data accurately.
- Handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum transactions accurately.
- Ask for the PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
Merchandising:
- Ensure proper documentation for receipts and returns.
- Maintain designated merchandising areas, including facing, signing, and labeling.
Loss Prevention:
- Follow loss prevention standards.
- Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventories.
General:
- Present a professional image according to uniform and dress code policies.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Follow store policies and procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and store image standards.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
- Organizational skills and neatness.
- Efficiency in processing customer transactions.
Experience:
- Strong computer and register skills.
- Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
- Detail-oriented.
