Job summary

Giant Tiger in Orillia is seeking a part-time Cashier to support daily checkout operations and customer service. You’ll process transactions accurately at cash registers and SCOs, replenish shelves near the checkout, and ensure Health & Safety standards are followed.

You’ll work a mix of day/evening/weekend shifts with a 35-40 hour schedule for full-time consideration and up to 24 hours weekly for part-time. Training provided, with strong emphasis on teamwork and customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, efficient customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized and precise at checkout.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service at the checkout.
• Record transactions accurately at cash, mainline, and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Follow health & safety guidelines and keep work areas clean.
• Follow loss prevention procedures and policies for Tobacco & Lottery.
