Giant Tiger is hiring a part-time/temporary Cashier at our Angus, Ontario location. The role involves providing friendly customer service at the checkout, accurately recording transactions on cash registers and self-checkouts, and restocking around the checkout area.

You will follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Typical shifts include day/evening/weekends with 35–40 hours weekly for full-time equivalents; but this is a part-time position with up

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service at the checkout.
• Records customer transactions accurately in the cash register, mainline and SCOs.
• Restocks merchandise around the checkout area.
• Adheres to health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Keeps the checkout work area clean and organized.
• Follows loss prevention best practices.
• Complies with policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
