Job summary

Phil- is opening a new cafe at Cross Iron Mills Mall in Calgary. We seek friendly baristas who will serve tasty coffee and light food to our customers, embrace growth opportunities, and join a team that values kindness and hard work.

Prior cafe experience is preferred but not required; a keen interest in coffee and service is essential, plus the energy to start work early and stay flexible on end times. Training will be unparalleled, and opportunities to advance exist across locations.

Qualifications

• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts.

• Willingness to learn and provide great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve coffee, espresso drinks and light food to customers with kindness.
• Participate in an intense training program for new cafe openings.

Job description

We are hiring baristas for our new cafe opening in Cross Iron Mills Mall.

If you enjoy being part of a great team, serving tasty coffee and food to grateful customers, and relish opportunities for growth and career development. We are the team for you. While cafe experience is preferred, you do not need any experience in coffee to apply. What you will need is a keen interest in coffee and service and a desire to learn. Mostly, though, the skills necessary to be a great barista involve waking up early, day in and day out, and serving a community of customers and coworkers with kindness and hard work. A willingness to do that work - and the temperament needed to actually love doing it - are prerequisites. We look forward to hearing from you.

Schedule:

Availability: Weekend and holiday availability ismandatory.

Shift Length: Shifts range from 5–8 hours. Additional hours may be available based on business needs, coverage, and employee availability.

Start/End Times: Must be available to start as early as8:00 a.m.and work as late as10:00 p.m.

Requirements: All applicants must be able to meet the availability requirements listed above.

Preferred Start Date: Nov 19th 2026

This position is for anew café opening. The anticipated start date istentative and subject to changebased on the final opening timeline. Successful candidates must be flexible, as the start date may be adjusted with advance notice.
