Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

We’re on the search for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 that will help lead the loudest store in the mall. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives related to sales targets, recruiting, and development. You’re Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker rolled into one; you can handle anything that comes your way while driving sales and building lifelong relationships with our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
2. Help recruit, develop, and retain a passionate team to run your store alongside you.
3. Create buzz and customer engagement through promotion of new products, social media, and additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
4. Provide leadership in running an operationally sound business; balance operations, delegation, autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
5. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
6. Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
7. Analyze sales reports and use data to guide strategies to meet sales targets.
8. Merchandise the store effectively, leveraging planograms and launching promotions on time.
9. Develop your team of high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with your Store Manager.

What You'll Need

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience, especially if you love music and pop culture.
• Proven success in leading teams, with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Adaptability to fast-changing retail environments and ability to handle challenges effectively.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
