Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

We’re on the search for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 that will help lead the loudest store in the mall. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives related to sales targets, recruiting, and development. You’re like Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker rolled into one; you can handle anything that comes your way while driving sales and building lifelong relationships with our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
2. Help recruit, develop, and retain a passionate, collaborative team to run your store.
3. Create buzz and customer engagement through promotion of new products, social media, and additional services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
4. Provide leadership to ensure the store operates smoothly, balancing operational duties, delegation, and customer-first selling practices.
5. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
6. Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners about trends and customer feedback.
7. Analyze sales reports and use data to inform strategy and meet sales goals.
8. Merchandise the store effectively, leveraging planograms and launching promotions on time.
9. Develop your team of loyal, high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with your Store Manager.

What You'll Need

1. 1-2 years of retail management experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus.
2. Proven success in team leadership with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
3. Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and a drive to develop your team.
4. A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.
5. Ability to adapt and handle the fast-changing retail environment.
6. Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
