We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to lead our store in Southcentre mall. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support your Store Manager in meeting sales and comparable sales goals.
  • Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team.
  • Create buzz and engage customers through promoting new products, utilizing social media, and encouraging benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  • Provide operational leadership, balancing store operations, delegation, and customer-first selling practices.
  • Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
  • Analyze sales reports to inform strategies for reaching sales goals.
  • Merchandise the store effectively, leveraging planograms and launching promotions on time.
  • Collaborate with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
  • Proven success in team leadership with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
  • Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operations—like an Avenger!
  • A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.
  • Adaptability to the fast-changing retail environment and ability to handle challenges.
  • Basic retail skills: navigating the store, merchandising, and handling merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
