We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to lead the store with energy and passion. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a combination of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and fostering lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do
  1. Assist your Store Manager in meeting sales and comparable sales goals.
  2. Help recruit, develop, and retain a passionate, collaborative team.
  3. Create buzz and engage customers through promoting new products, utilizing social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  4. Lead operational excellence by balancing store operations, delegation, and customer service.
  5. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and staff schedules.
  6. Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
  7. Analyze sales reports and use data to strategize for sales growth.
  8. Merchandise the store effectively, following planograms and launching promotions on time.
  9. Partner with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
What You'll Need
  • 1-2 years of retail store management experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
  • Proven success in team leadership, with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
  • Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
  • A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.
  • Adaptability to the fast-changing retail environment and ability to handle unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
