We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll be a key part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can find their favorite merchandise. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and assist in daily operations and sales targets.

What You'll Do

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Support store operations by stepping in for leadership roles when needed, including covering the sales floor
• Open and close the store as required, ensuring security and readiness
• Operate the register, process sales, and promote add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup; communicate shortages or overages to management
• Understand store sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT
• Assist with planogram updates, store layouts, and merchandising
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ teams
• Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security
• Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team to run the store effectively
• Perform any additional activities assigned by your Store Leader
