YMCA of the National Capital Region is seeking an Assistant Educator to support Licensed Child Care programs. You will help maintain a high-quality environment for children by supporting educators, ensuring safety, and implementing age-appropriate activities.
You will report to the Manager, Child Care and work within a unionized team. A valid First Aid/CPR-C and a Canada work permit are required; police checks are mandatory.

The Assistant Educator will function as a team member responsible for the maintenance of high-quality programs for children and families by creating an educational, safe, clean and enjoyable environment for children. The Assistant Educator will be an active part of the service delivery team for Licensed Child Care. The Assistant Educator will provide direct support and assistance to the Educators of the child care Centre.
The Assistant Educator is accountable to the Manager, Child Care for the safe supervision of the children in accordance with program policies and philosophy.
