Job summary
A leading art supply company is seeking a part-time instructor for classes in watercolor, acrylic painting, and drawing, based in Ontario. The ideal candidate should have the ability to teach realistic art techniques and market their own classes. Compensation includes hourly rates plus per-student incentives. Certification through the parent company is required prior to teaching, and schedules are flexible based on store management agreements.
Qualifications
Experience in teaching art classes preferred.
Certification through Grumbacher required prior to teaching.
Ability to engage and interact with students effectively.
Responsibilities
Teach art classes in watercolor, acrylic painting, and drawing.
Plan and manage class schedules with store management.
Ensure students leave with a completed artwork.
