Job summary

Chartpak, Inc. is seeking an Acrylic Painting, Watercolor and/or Drawing Instructor to teach at the Michaels store in Surrey, Canada. This part-time, permanent position offers instructors who can paint or draw realistically, teach classes, and market their offerings to grow a student base.

Classes are two hours long; compensation includes hourly rate plus per-student bonuses. Certification through Grumbacher is required, independent of Michaels hiring.

Qualifications

• Must be able to paint and/or draw realistically.
• Must be able to teach realistic acrylic painting, watercolor, and/or drawing classes.
• Willing to market classes and build own student base.

Responsibilities

• Teach Acrylic Painting, Watercolor and Drawing classes at Michaels Surrey store.
• Market classes and build your own student base.
• Classes are two hours in length and aim for students to leave with a finished painting or drawing.
• Certification through Grumbacher is required for instructors teaching at Michaels.
