Job description

We are seeking a motivated administrator to join our expanding fertility practice. At Generation Fertility Waterloo, it is our commitment to provide high-quality, patient centered care. The administrator participates as an important member on a multidisciplinary team and collaborates with other professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient focused care.

The administrative role involves greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone and email inquiries, sending billing reminders to patients, entering information into permanent patient charts, and working with colleagues to ensure a smooth and inclusive work environment.

This position requires weekend hours of 7:30 am - 11:30 am on Sat and Sun. Additionally one or two days during the week (ideally Mon and/or Fri) from 7:00 am to 11:30 am. Opportunity for more hours during periods where other staff are on vacation, etc.

The following knowledge is required for this position:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an office administrator
  • Successful completion of Health Office Administration diploma an asset
  • Willing to commit to a part-time schedule including weekends and on-call dates as needed
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and customer service
  • Knowledge of computer software applications, such as MS Word, Excel and electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain a good attendance record
  • Previous experience in reproductive medicine and/or gynecology an asset

Salary commensurate with experience.
