Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
The Sessional Lecturer will be responsible for the online delivery of one-half credit course, HESA 4000-Canadian Healthcare Delivery System, during the fall term (September to December 2025), in the Diploma in Emergency Health Services Management or the Diploma in Health Services Administration programs. For the course description please refer to the Dalhousie Academic Calendar.
Applicants may apply for one or both sections (section 01 and/or 02 -please specify).
Responsibilities include all aspects of teaching and administering the online course; course preparation including course content for lectures, test/assignments/exam preparation and evaluation/marking of student course work, as well as, providing tutorial support to students. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course. The position reports to the Director of the School.
Qualifications/Requirements Of Position
- Master’s degree in health administration
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
- Previous experience teaching in an online environment
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
