Job Description

We are looking for reliable and passionate Parks & Grounds Keepers to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working under the Gardening & Grounds Foreperson, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the gardens and grounds across PNE properties, including tasks such as weeding, pruning, watering, operating turf maintenance equipment, and supporting landscape projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance including weeding, pruning, watering, and debris removal
• Operate turf mowers, aerators, and other landscaping equipment
• Assist with digging, trenching, and filling projects
• Support the operation of trucks, UTVs, tractors, and aerial platforms safely
• Maintain safety standards and proper use of PPE
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of grounds and landscape work experience
• Proficient with tools and power equipment
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license; forklift experience is an asset
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
• Physically capable of working in various positions and conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Successful candidates will undergo a Criminal Record Check
