Park Attendant – Security & Maintenance Seasonal (OPSEU Union - Summer Student Positions)
As a community-based natural resource management agency, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority envisions a healthy and vibrant natural environment with shared greenspace and clean water for all.
NPCA’s work supports the conservation, enhancement, and sustainability of healthy watersheds with programs and services that focus on drinking water source protection, flood and hazard management, endangered species protection, ecosystem restoration, community stewardship, education, and land management.
NPCA is the caretaker of 41 conservation areas within the Niagara Peninsula watershed held in public trust for recreation, heritage preservation, conservation, and education. These natural and shared greenspaces marry nature, culture, and adventure to create limitless opportunities for discovery.

Summary of Duties
Under the Direction of the Park Manager, this role is responsible for security and general maintenance activities at an assigned Conservation Area. Duties may include providing park security oversight and performing general facility and property maintenance. Individuals will safely operate equipment to ensure the upkeep of the Conservation Area as a recreational park for visitors as well as maintaining and supporting the natural resources of the area.

Applicants will be assigned to one location but may be asked to work at any of the locations listed below. If expressing interest in either our Chippawa, Long Beach, Binbrook or Ball’s Falls locations, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts may be required.
Locations:
Salary: $17.50 - $18.00/hour.
