Job summary

Associated Ambulance is seeking a qualified Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) to join our Drayton Valley Station. This permanent full-time role offers a predictable four days on, four days off schedule and the chance to deliver essential pre-hospital care within a dedicated EMS team.

You will administer pre-hospital care, monitor patients during transport, and collaborate with EMS colleagues, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in the

Qualifications

• Valid PCP practice permit meeting EMS requirements in Alberta.
• Current Alberta Class IV driver’s license.
• Completion of all mandatory and required training, including MCP and PDIC.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions to determine injury or illness and care needs.
• Administer pre-hospital emergency care and stabilize patients for transport.
• Monitor vital signs, glucose levels and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with EMS personnel, physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
