Job summary

Nestlé Canada seeks a versatile Paralegal & Manager, Compliance to join our Canadian Legal team in an exciting dual role focused on Marketing, Advertising and Intellectual Property, with Corporate maintenance and broad compliance responsibilities.

You will champion governance, lead compliance initiatives, draft and negotiate agreements, oversee training, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to embed accountability and integrity across Nestlé Canada. Hybrid work arrangement provided.

Qualifications

• University degree and Paralegal Certification or Ontario certificate
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a law clerk or paralegal
• Experience in corporate commercial work and intellectual property matters is an asset
• CPG industry experience is an asset
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Highly organized and able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proactive and independent work style

Responsibilities

• Review and draft marketing, advertising and IP-related agreements
• Coordinate NDAs, supply and research grant agreements
• Support compliance initiatives and governance policies
• Lead compliance training and global communications
• Oversee contests and promotions related to legal/compliance matters
• Manage external counsel relationships and cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain corporate governance records and banking/ resolutions coordination
