Your Future Role

We are looking for a Paralegal to join the corporate law practice in our Montreal office. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for handling the various corporate and transactional aspects of the firm and its clients. The role works closely with the lawyers and clients of the firm.

• Prepare documentation related to incorporations, organizations, amendments, dissolutions, continuances, rollovers, share capital and other corporate transactions
• Perform due diligence on minute books and make required adjustments
• Draft annual corporate resolutions and maintain company records
• Manage client corporate records and participate in various projects related to the corporate law practice of the firm
• Participate in the continuous development of junior paralegals

Who are we looking for?

• 8+ years experience in corporate law (more junior submissions will be considered for high-aptitude candidates)
• Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Paralegal Technology or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (knowledge of Minute Box is an asset)
