Job summary

astra north infoteck is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U EAM Expert for a long-term contract in Canada. The role is hybrid with on-site days to be confirmed, requiring full-cycle SAP IS-U EAM deployments from blueprinting through go-live and hyper-care support.

Responsibilities include end-to-end implementation, data migration, integration with PM/MM/CS/FICO, user training, and thorough documentation. Legal work authorization in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP IS-U EAM project implementations from blueprinting to go-live and hyper-care support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into SAP EAM solutions.
• Experience integrating EAM with PM, MM, CS, and FICO modules.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end SAP IS-U EAM project implementations including blueprinting, gap analysis, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate into scalable SAP EAM solutions.
• Configure and maintain EAM components such as functional locations, equipment, BOMs, work orders, maintenance plans, and notifications.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure delivery within scope and budget.
• Provide documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and test scripts.
• Provide ongoing production support and implement enhancements to improve maintenance efficiency and asset reliability.

Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Expert to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP IS-U EAM project implementation, including full-cycle deployments from blueprinting and configuration to go-live and hyper-care support. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end SAP IS-U EAM project implementations, including blueprinting, gap analysis, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements, translating them into scalable SAP EAM solutions aligned with utilities industry best practices.
• Configure and maintain key EAM components such as functional locations, equipment master data, bill of materials (BOMs), work orders, maintenance plans, and notification processing.
• Integrate SAP IS-U EAM seamlessly with cross-functional modules including PM (Plant Maintenance), MM (Materials Management), CS (Customer Service), and FICO (Finance & Controlling).
• Conduct client workshops, user training sessions, and prepare comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and test scripts.
• Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement enhancements to improve maintenance efficiency, asset reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks while coordinating with onsite and offshore teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope and budget.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
