Qualifications

• Registration as a practicing RN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Palliative Response Team training or equivalent.
• 2 years' recent nursing experience in palliative care/hospice or community nursing.
• Valid BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide direct nursing care to patients/residents in hospital or community.
• Ensure patient and staff safety and quality of care per standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and community agencies.
• Travel may be required and transportation arrangements may be needed.
