Job summary

A regional health authority is seeking a compassionate part-time palliative care physician to provide MRP coverage and consultation services in Abbotsford. The ideal candidate will work alongside multidisciplinary teams and engage in teaching activities. Qualifications include a one-year enhanced skills residency and a two-year subspecialty in Palliative Medicine. This role offers competitive compensation and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Palliative Medicine.
• Required to have a Certificate of Added Competence (CAC).
• Ability to provide MRP coverage in PCCU.

Responsibilities

• Provide MRP coverage in PCCU and Holmberg House.
• Deliver consultation services to acute care and community patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on patient care.
• Participate in teaching activities with UBC division.
