Job summary

A public healthcare provider in Surrey, BC is looking for two full-time palliative care physicians to join a multidisciplinary team. You will provide clinical services in the Palliative Complex Care Unit and consultation for acute and community-based patients. Candidates should have relevant residency and certification in Palliative Medicine. The role offers an alternative payment plan and potential relocation reimbursement.

Qualifications

• One year enhanced skills residency and Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
• Two year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
• CCFP (PC), CPSBC Full, FRCPC.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service as part of the multidisciplinary palliative care team in Surrey.
• Deliver Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage in the Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU).
• Collaborate with other palliative care professionals across Fraser Health facilities.
