Job summary

Spectrum Health Care in Mississauga is seeking part-time/casual Registered Nurses to join a dedicated palliative care team delivering an integrated, community-based model. You will work with an interdisciplinary team and travel between patients’ residences or facilities to provide holistic, patient-centered care.

The role requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, at least two years of nursing experience with palliative care preferred, and skills in wound care, IV

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Two years of nursing experience; palliative care experience preferred.
• Experience with palliative care patients is required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Integrated Care Program Supervisor and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Travel between patients’ residences or facilities to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
• Participate in clinical huddles and case conferences with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Adhere to regulatory and Spectrum Health Care standards, policies and procedures.
