A regional health authority in Saskatchewan seeks a palliative care physician to provide support for palliative care services in Lloydminster. Responsibilities include delivering care, supporting clients and families, and leading a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates must hold appropriate certifications and be eligible for practice in Saskatchewan. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Integrated Northern Area invites applications for the position of palliative care physician to provide physician support (0.2 FTE) for palliative care services in the North West Area of the province (Lloydminster).
The candidate will hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Individuals with additional training in palliative medicine will deserve preference. Successful applicants will be eligible for a regular licence to practise in Saskatchewan from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
The successful candidate must be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
