MLP Painting & Construction LTD. is looking for an experienced Painting Contractor to lead and complete residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality results.

Hourly Wage: $37.00

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co‑ordinate and schedule activities
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
• Train or arrange for training
• Manage own company
• Estimate costs and materials
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Leading/instructing individuals

The work is primarily conducted outdoors in a construction and residential setting, where employees are regularly exposed to noisy, dusty conditions and are required to work at heights. The position involves supervising a team of 5 to 10 workers while maintaining productivity and safety standards under pressure.
