Responsibilities

The Painter performs and coordinates the preparation and application of exterior and interior finishes in residential and light commercial settings. You must have experience as a residential painter and a positive attitude.

• Prepare various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, burning, sanding, sandblasting, or other means as necessary.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and protective coatings to achieve desired colors and properties. Caulk, putty, cement, or plaster holes and cracks.
• Paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other applicators. Prepare walls and hang wallpaper or other wall coverings.
• Determine and identify proper materials and quantities for projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present work descriptions to customers.

Requirements

• Current Driver's License and Insurance
• Tools, work vehicle, and good references
• Experience in remodeling or home repair trades
• Independent Contractors must carry liability insurance and workers' compensation
• Pass screening process including a background check
• Smartphone and internet access
