NEED PAINTER PER DIEM FOR 3RD SHIFT - SURGICAL UNIT
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY!
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, performs painting and refinishing of interior and exterior building surfaces and furnishings. Responsibilities include smoothing surfaces, filling holes and cracks, and applying coats of paint, varnish, stains, wall coverings, using equipment such as brushes, rollers, and scrapers.
Experience Minimum Required: 3 years related experience preferred. Must be competent in repairing walls, matching paint colors, and wallpaper installation/repair.
Experience Preferred/Desired: 5 years related experience preferred. Must be competent in repairing walls, matching paint colors, and wallpaper installation/repair.
Education Minimum Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of building codes, blueprint reading, tools, and materials. Ability to estimate time and materials needed.
Education Preferred/Desired: Trade school graduate.
Special Skills Minimum Required: Ability to apply coats of paint, varnish, etc., neatly and efficiently using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Capable of mixing plaster and applying it evenly. Ability to lift heavy cans of paint and perform light to moderate manual efforts, including walking, standing, climbing ladders, and scaffolds.
Licensure and Certifications Required: Valid driver's license.
