Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, including industrial and commercial painting, and possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of surface preparation, application methods, and finishing techniques to ensure high-quality results in both interior and exterior projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; utilize hand tools effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed prior to painting projects.
• Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial painting, commercial painting, or construction painting.
• Proficiency in caulking and drywall repair techniques.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in the painting process.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks associated with painting projects.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
