We are seeking a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is confident working in both residential and commercial settings.

Job Title : Painter

Employer : VDS Painting and Decorating Inc

Location : BOSS Business Centers, 3292 Production Way, Burnaby, BC V5A 4R4.

Salary : $28-30 / hour, up to 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment : Permanent, Full-time

Schedule : Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning

Start Date : As soon as possible

Overview

Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience : 2 years to 3 years

Workplace Information : On the road – frequent or constant travel required

Work Setting : Various locations

Requirements :

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass a background check
• Must have own vehicle and painting tools
• Strong references demonstrating reliability and skill
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
• Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces
• Mix paint to desired colour and texture
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and fabric to walls
• Erect scaffolding, swing stages, and attach rigging
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Estimate costs and materials
