Job Title:Paint Technician

Job Overview

We are currently seeking askilled and experienced Paint Technicianto join our dynamic team in Elliot Lake. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading underground mining operation where safety, precision, and quality are top priorities.

Key Job Responsibilities

· Prepare surfaces and apply industrial coatings to mining equipment and components.

· Operate spray guns, sandblasters, and other painting tools in accordance with safety standards.

· Inspect finished work to ensure quality and durability.

· Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area.

· Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

· Ensure compliance with local occupational safety, health and air pollution control regulations including Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and with all safety precautions recommended by paint manufacturer.

Qualifications/Requirements

· Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or automotive painting.

· Knowledge of surface preparation, coating types, and application techniques.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

· Experience in a mining or heavy industrial environment is an asset.
