2GalsProPaintingis an award winning residential and light commercial painting company renowned for exceptional quality and customer service within the Golden Horseshoe region. We are experiencing significant growth and seeking a highly motivated results-oriented Paint/Spray Expert.

We service Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, NOTL, Ancaster, Caledonia, Brantford, Kitchener, Guelph, Milton, Mississauga and surrounding areas.

Job Summary:

The Spray Paint Expert will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint using a variety of spray-painting equipment, ensuring high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a deep understanding of different spray-painting techniques, paint types, and surface preparation methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling imperfections, and priming as needed.
  • Operate and maintain various spray-painting equipment, including airless sprayers, HVLP sprayers, and conventional spray guns.
  • Apply paint evenly and efficiently, achieving smooth, consistent finishes free from runs, drips, and other defects.
  • Mask and protect areas not to be painted.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
  • Accurately track material usage and time spent on projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion within deadlines.
  • Stay up to date on new spray painting techniques, products, and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of different paint types, including their properties and applications.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various spray-painting equipment.
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and working at heights.
  • Experience in kitchen cabinet finishing and exterior.
  • Knowledge of specific paint brands or product lines.
  • Experience with specialized spray-painting techniques, such as faux finishing or custom painting.
  • Minimum 4 years experience
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Have a vehicle and insurance
  • Drive to work sites
  • Supply own painting tools
